Hello list friends,
I've been searching in vain for some (preferably free) before and after satellite imagery of the recent New Hampshire flooding. This is a new area of "mapping" for me so I am not very efficient at finding what I am looking for.
This is something that I wish to use in my intro GIS course for environmental management students when I discuss the power of RS and GIS in their future careers.
In particular, I am looking for imagery that might show me how river courses have been changed (widened, moved, etc.) as a result of the flooding. I understand that Alstead was extremely hard hit and would like to specifically look in that area, if possible. I have friends who were affected by the flooding who have sent me actual ground photos of some of the destruction and mass wasting. It would be great to be able to see before and after satellite imagery and be able to show what that relates to on the ground.
Any pointers would be extremely helpful,
Thanks
Rick
