I'm trying to build a stand-alone application that will use ArcReader as a viewer that will need to generate shapefiles from a list of coordinates. I'm planning to build an empty shapefile as a placeholder in the PMF file, then programatically adding polygons to that empty shapefile. The polygon vertices are output from a model.
I've got the shapefile spec, so if worse comes to worse I can just write it myself, but if there is a low / no cost component out there that can do this for me, I'd rather use it.
No ArcGIS component except ArcReader will be available to this application.
