To add just a tad bit more information, I do not believe that at Manifolds "base" price, it is capable of geocoding. The geocoder function is extra.
Realize also that for a very small price increase, you could also purchase Maptitude from Caliper - www.caliper.com. This product is extremely powerful for it's price, which I believe is $499.
Still don't get the ESRI love fest thing...
