Subject: Re: [gislist] Export domains in ArcGIS
Date:  11/17/2005 08:35:01 AM
From:  Tripp Corbin

If I am not mistaken, domains are stored as a separate table in the
geodatabase. Join your feature class attribute table to the domain
table. Then export that to a shapefile. It should have the descriptions
included in the shapefile attribute table.

Subject: [gislist] Export domains in ArcGIS

Dear all,
How can I export feature class to shp file with attribute items that
belong to a geodatabase domain with both the domain code and
description text. Is there any script or other way to do that in
ArcGIS?
Thanks
