Is anyone using ArcGlobe from ESRI, either as an internal deployment, or via
the web, in the context of Google/MSN Live Local deployments? We're
interested in using something that has the performance of GoogleEarth, but
with the flexibility and ability to control and administer like ESRI
products for potential ASP clients. We like Google very much, however there
are current limitations that make it unsuitable for more proprietary
technology deployments, and as far as I know, GoogleEarth (Keyhole) does not
just license the interface so that we could take that and insert it between
our clients and their/our databases, so this is what we are looking to do,
but not sure if ArcGlobe is the best choice, if even a choice at all and was
wondering about anyone else using it and if that is satisfying.
