Subject: Re: [gislist] Dell Xeon for ArcGIS?
Date:  12/13/2005 11:15:02 PM
From:  George

Hello Rixanne:

Apparently there is an issue with ArcGIS installation, and running, on Windows XP Professional and SP2 with a Xeon chip. In the Tech Article referenced below, ArcGIS products are certified with limitations by ESRI under XP Pro SP2 and a Xeon chipset (among other processors). There are work-arounds that are also documented.

The reference to this article is:

Cheers,
George.
