Subject: Re: [gislist] Dell Xeon for ArcGIS?
Date:  12/15/2005 12:05:01 AM
From:  George

Andy:
searching the ESRI site for system requirements returned this url

http://support.esri.com/index.cfm?fa=knowledgebase.systemRequirements.gateway

you can put in the software and version and find out any limitations on certification for 9.1 products there.

Cheers,
George.

In the Tech Articlereferenced below, ArcGIS products are certified with limitations by ESRIunder XP Pro SP2 and a Xeon chipset (among other processors). There arework-arounds that are also documented. The reference to this article is:http://support.esri.com/index.cfm?fa=knowledgebase.techArticles.articleShow&d=28647Cheers,George."Where ever you go, there you are."GIS Consultant.
