What level (ArcView, ArcEditor or ArcInfo) and what version of ArcGIS are you running? I believe you need at least ArcEditor or the Data Interoperability Extension to convert to DXF. Also you will need to make sure your street names are in an annotation feature class and not labels in order to convert to CAD text.

Dear List, I have a large street file that has street names as attributes. I am trying to convert from ESRI shapefile to AutoCAD DWG or DXF.
I cant seem to get the Streetname attribute converted to an annotation layer in the CAD file.
I have been to Arcscipts download page and have tried a couple of things there without any success.
Thanks in advance
Best Regards
Ayo Akinseye
