Hello All, I have a very beginner ArcSDE question. In order to use multiuser, versioned geodatabases (in particular Oracle 10g), you need to have ArcSDE. At least, so says ESRI's website. My question is, in order to create an Oracle geodatabase, do you also need to have Oracle installed on the server with ArcSDE, or can you just use ArcSDE without Oracle or Sql server, etc.? If you need Oracle, can you get away with just oracle standard, or even lite, or do you need Oracle Enterprise installed? This is all fairly new to me. Thank you in advance, David _______________________________________________ gislist mailing list gislist@lists.geocomm.com http://lists.geocomm.com/mailman/listinfo/gislist
