Does ortho-rectification include terrain correction?
No, it does not. (I guess I've to disagree with Mr. Corbin). If properly done ortho-rectification takes care of the camera (the particular image was taken with) and earth curative distortions only. You could use DEM (digital elevation model) in conjunction with the orto-rectified image. However, some pixels of the image are going to stretch (this pixel-stretch is realy big in mountain areas and obscures everything). Well, in case you want something better you have to look for oblige photos (images).
