I am using Hawth's Analysis Tools for GIS calculate home range models for
fish equipped with acoustic transmitters. I have noticed drastically
different area calculations of minimum convex polygons when the mcp tool is
used compared to area calculations of the same mcp made by xtools or ArcMap.


Any ideas? Am I missing something? Thanks.
