I've posted this with the manifold-l list as well.
Basically, my problem is I have a series of points in one file (several
thousand points to be more exact), and I have a handful of points in
another file. I would like to know the distance from one file to the
other. But I would like to know the distance along a road network. In
other words I would like to know the distance along the road network
from a house to an assigned facility. I thought I might be able to do
this with manifold's geocoding extensions, but it's not working like I
thought it would.
I have the following software available: arcview 9.1, idrisi
kilimanjaro, and manifold 6.5
Any suggestions or leads will be much appreciated.
