Dear All
I am in the formative stages of gathering and formulating GIS data
pertanent to the oil and gas exploration industry in the Rocky Mountain
region of the USA. Being just out of college and therefore somewhat new to
the inner workings of the industry, I am looking for advise on how to market
GIS data in general and specifically that of the oil and gas industry.
Would it be true to say that most marketing of GIS data and GIS products is
done by personal contact and word of mouth, or are there any other avenues.
I realize my question is somewhat vague but am hoping that you might be able
to give me some adivse.
