I am new to using ArcGIS.... Does anyone know if there is a way to select
only the visible features from a layer? What I am working with is a study
area for cell towers and trying to determine what locations would be good
candidates for a possible new cell tower site. I have created a buffer
layer on top of the actual study area and need to select all the locations
which are suitable. I have tried using the spatial select but no matter
what I do it just keeps selecting the whole study area. All I need selected
are the parts of the study area which are not covered up by the buffer
layer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
