As an alternative try our stand-alone Shape to CAD converter (Arcv2CAD)
here.

To convert the Address field to Labels, check the 'Text Labels' option,
and in the 'Text Labels' specification dialog, select the 'Address'
field as the 'Text Label Field'.
It should do the job fairly simply.
