Subject: Re: [gislist] Google Earth Apps
Date:  04/14/2006 04:40:01 PM
From:  Adrian Kitchingman

For a web app it might be easier to implement the Google Maps API as the
Google Earth software would have to be installed for each of their real
estate clients.

Google Earth has a good tutorial for KML if you're still keen on using
Google Earth.

In regards to a Google Maps web app this info might help.

A good starter 'how to' page:

Google Map's API docs and examples are at:
http://www.google.com/apis/maps/

Once you register for an API key from Google they have a pretty good
example as well. All very easy to implement.
Be careful not to nest the Google script or yours inside a html table
or div tags as this throws an error in IE. If you do have the problem
then this page will help.

Good luck!

I will post the replies for all to see this weekend.
