Some folks might be interested to know that an upgrade to The Carbon
Project's CarbonArc Lite interoperability extension for ArcGIS is now available.
CarbonArc Lite extends ArcGIS to use Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. (OGC)
services and is the first module of the CarbonArc interoperability extension
platform for ArcGIS. With CarbonArc Lite ESRI users around the world can now
easily plug into the GeoWeb of open-geospatial services describing our
planet, including both OGC Web Map and Feature Services.
The Enterprise version of CarbonArc Lite offers new ease-of-use features,
additional support for Geography Markup Language (GML) and is the first
official update to the beta version of CarbonArc Lite released in early 2006.
For information on obtaining a free evaluation of CarbonArc Lite Enterprise
please visit _www.TheCarbonProject.com_ (http://www.TheCarbonProject.com) .
Regards,
Jeff
