Hello! I need some advice for working with ArcMap 9.
I am making a set of presentation maps that involve several schools in a city (Baltimore, FYI). There will be an overall map of the city and then one map that zooms into each school and the surrounding area, approx. 10 maps total.
These maps will be data-intensive: Lots of layers, many different types of symbols.
Normally, I either create multiple data frames in one document, or several documents with a different view each. This way I can keep the extent and layout just how I like it in case I need to come back for edits.
I am anticipating a lot of edit requests this time and I am wondering if there is a way to avoid making the same changes 10 times.
Is there a way to link multiple views or frames to the same set of data so that if I make changes to the "master" document, the symbols across all the maps will change?
Thanks,
