Subject: [gislist] Restricted Services in ArcIMS 9.1?
Date:  06/01/2006 02:35:01 PM
From:  Smith Travis G Civ 56 RMO/GIS

Hi Listers,

I have a question about setting up restricted services. First, I tried
to locate our esrimap_prop file, but found that we have two of these.
They are located in the two locations listed below. Any idea which
should be used?

C:Program FilesArcGISArcIMSConnectorsServlet
C:Program FilesNew AtlantaServlet Exec ISAPIServlets

Second, I created my ACL file and configured it with a username,
password and selected service.

Then, I attempted to configure our server to work with restricted
services. I navigated to the Default Web Site (via
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Admin Tools>Internet Services Manager).
However, I can't locate a Jakarta virtual directory. I also looked for
the isapi_redirector.dll file and couldn't find it.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Travis
