Subject: Re: [gislist] GIS Application Development HELP!
Date:  06/09/2006 08:25:01 AM
From:  Nonie Castro

When I went to the ESRI User's Conference last year, a lot of the
classes were talking about Python:
http://wiki.python.org/moin/BeginnersGuide
http://www.honors.montana.edu/~jjc/easytut/easytut/easytut.html

ESRI's website offers a lot of Free on-line seminars - see if any of
these will help you:
http://campus.esri.com/campus/home/workshoplist.cfm?id=3&CFID=10622742&C
FTOKEN=62997212
They require you to register on the site, but there is no cost.

There is a LOT of stuff in ESRI's knowledge base, again - just requiring
you to register:
http://support.esri.com/index.cfm?fa=downloads.geoprocessing.gateway

And - here is where you can get access to the White Papers submitted by
ESRI users at the Conference:
http://www.esri.com/library/userconf/archive.html
You can root around in here and see HOW people are using the software.
It may give you some ideas.

Good luck!!!
