When creating annotation from a feature class, the annotation angle is set
to zero if labeling properties are changed using Maplex before the
conversion to annotation.
If no labeling properties are changed and then if labels are converted to
annotation in a GDB, angle is preserved. Does anyone know how I can avoid
this.
The problem I'm facing is when adding this layer to ArcIMS. While the
annotation with 0 angle displays with original angles in ArcMap, all the
anno labels with 0 angle become horizontal when added to ArcIMS. Can anyone
suggest how to work around this problem?
