Subject: Re: [gislist] lat/long for hotels/Buildings from google earth intoexcel spreadsheet
Date:  10/13/2006 06:10:00 AM
From:  Anthony Quartararo

As far as I know, this would be a violation of copyrights of the respective
data content owners (those that own the rights to the hotels, resorts, etc.)
a violation of the Google Earth terms of use, and generally an illegal
practice. The implications of your question, while perhaps innocent enough,
indicate some desire to export and create a database of locations for
Magnasoft's purpose that other's have paid millions of dollars to create,
and you want to try and leverage the relatively inexpensive G.E. application
to short-cut the path to a "new" database of points of interest.

Best Regards,

Anthony Quartararo
