Subject: Re: [gislist] CAD to GIS accuracy?
Date:  10/31/2006 12:45:00 AM
From:  Selvan

Travis,

I don't understand, why you want to set a accuracy for migrating your CAD
data into GIS.
Anyway I just wanted to know if the CAD files that you wanted to migrate are
of the same projection/datum that you wanted to migrate, if the accuracy of
the data in maintained while capturing them, 99% of the same accuracy will
be your final GIS data. So I don't see a need to really bother about this. I
hope my answer is a bit helpful may be.

Regards,
Selvan.
