I have an existing Shapefile for which I'm receiving the following error
upon attempting to open it (add it to ArcView 9.1). I tried to just open =

.dbf, but couldn't seem to read it for some reason.

Number of shapes does not match the number of table records

Has anyone encountered this before, and, is there a workaround/fix for =
