It seems for every 'inappropriate ESRI tech question' that gets asked on
this list, the rest of us get to waste half a day opening and reading
responses from list subscribers debating the 'appropriateness' or
'inappropriateness' of such questions. I hate to even respond to this issue
because it just pollutes this list with one more unnecessary post.
Come on folks, let's get over it and move on. I don't think tech-related
ESRI posts belong on this list anymore than Bob does but, we've all got a
choice. We can either live with an occasional inappropriate response from a
new lister or move on to another list just as Bob plans to do. The only
request I have is, next time, please keep your grumblings to yourself and
just move on. Save us from reading future posts about how unhappy you are
with other GIS listers who may not use the list the way you would see fit.
