This is an "ivory tower" academic issue, a noble effort in practical
business/career environments, and pretty much impossible to conclude in
reality. Take for example, Google's mission to "do no harm" ? Every
employee, investor, consumer, user, passive member of society, governments,
sellers, etc. would all have multiple views on that mission statement in
multiple ways, many of those opinions would no doubt, now more than ever,
conclude Google behaves in very unethical ways, and it allows others to
behave in unethical ways as well. Does it stop those people with
less-than-stellar opinions of Google from using it's technology - most
likely "no".
