Hi!
Have you tried ArcGIS Web Services? www.arcwebservices.com.
With these, a user can store his/her own data, create map image services, spatial query services, or use exisiting services as well. You can evaluate this for 3 months and you get 5000 credits (each map request, such as zoom-in, zoom-in costs 1 credit). After 3 months, if you wish to continue, you get 100000 (100 K) credits for $1250 (with 50 MB). You have to pay extra for storage > 50 MB.
If you are interested in 3D Globe services, then you should look at arcgisonline.com.
Thanks! Ajit

Hi Listers,
I've heard that GIS hosting service providers (i.e. Geocortex) are rapidly becoming very popular, and am interested in learning more. Does anyone out there currently use an ASP for GIS (i.e. ArcIMS)? If so, would you mind sharing with me, a bit about your experience and costs (up front/monthly)? I am interested in finding out how much customization you can get, and what it takes to update layers.
Also, are there any good websites available, that list some of the larger companies providing GIS hosting services?
Thanks very much,
Travis
