Dear listmates:
My name is W. Lee Meeks and I am both a working professional at General Dyn=
amics Advanced Information Systems and a doctoral candidate within George W=
ashington University=92s Information Systems and Technology Department. A =
few years ago, I became interested in the content and usefulness of metadat=
a associated with geospatial data and information data sets used in GIS. I=
n my ongoing doctoral research, I am surveying GIS practitioners and other =
professionals using GIS about the metadata factors that may be most useful =
to them. However, I am also interested in the opinions of academics, manag=
ers, and decision makers in industry and government knowledgeable about the=
use or production of geospatial data and information intended for use in G=
IS.
As such, I have posted a survey on GWU=92s web survey server. Please visit=
