All,

I know sometime back on this list this was discussed but I've got an update=
, sort of.

I've got some laptops that I'm currently running 9.x on.=A0 According to th=
e ESRI website they should be fine to run the program.=A0 80gb hdd with 2gb=
RAM 1.80 Pentium M proc, NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5650 video card. Sent the st=
ats to ESRI and they said they should be more than adequate.=A0 However the=
systems still seem to be bogging down when running large projects.

I asked my contact at ESRI what they recommend for as a platform for a stab=
le running of 9.2 and here is what they sent:

Intel Core 2 Duo (2GHz+)
2M L2 Cache
667Mhz FSB
2Gb RAM
Dedicated graphics card
*** Have it come with XP...Vista is currently not supported.
100Gb Hard drive

Not much different that what was discussed on the list, but thought I'd spr=
ead the wealth as that came from the horse's mouth so to speak.
