Hello listers,
I am trying to find/create GIS data for any sort of pollution in Baltimore, MD at the sub-city (neighborhood) level. Most of the publicly accessible data focuses on water resources and ecology. I am interested in things like toxic emissions and brownfields. One of the few sources of this sort of data I have found is the Toxic Release Inventory at the EPA website. Turning this data into a usable form is going to be a major challenge. Before I get started, has anyone else had experience working with this data and creating GIS layers from it? Any tips would be appreciated. Are there other data sources in keeping with my theme that I am overlooking?
