Dear listers,
Still learning editing in AV9.2, Win XP, Dell 9150
I was editing some data, including copying polygons from one layer to
another.
Then stopped that and moved on to putting labels (dynamic) on one layer for
certain polygons with appropriate anno group checked.
All of a sudden I couldn't get the right labels from the data. I would click
on the polygon with the label tool, but would get a name from another layer.
Such as a road name.
I tried with editing on or off, tried resetting the label properties in the
layer properties,ckecked the selectable layers, turned off other layers,
etc. but can't get the label tool to work.
Worse, now I can't get the selection tool to work either, on any layer.
Closed the project and program, restarted the computer. Still the same
problem.
Is this a sign of a corrupted project? Or will is come back somehow?
I'm restarting now to try on a different project. BUT
Any help would be much appreciated.
