I am not familiar with Oziexplorer or a .map file. However if the map file is a standard world file, it might be possible to just change the file extension depending on the format of your images. If it is a Tiff file try using .tfw. If it is a jpeg try using a .jpw. If that still doesn't work you can always resort to using the Georeferencing toolbar. Hi all, Hope someone can help me. I've eight tiles of Landsat images for Namibia with Projection UTM 33S. The spatial reference and control points are imbedded in a .map file (Oziexplorer). When I view these images in Oziexploerer they sit the right position. I've tried endlessly to view and overlay them in ArcGIS 9.2 but failed. Is there a way to extract the spatial reference and control point from the .Map file. I tried defining a new projection but failed to align them to the right position. I'll appreciate any suggestions on how to tackle it.
