Behind the Scenes in the All New Teen Tech Studio

Teen Tech Studio at COSI

COSI is just 2 days away from the opening of our new Teen Tech Studio!!!  Things are still a little bit messy, but check out these "behind the scenes" pictures.

Teens can hang out, mess around, and geek out in the Teen Tech Studio by working with COSI mentors and exploring technology. The studio offers multimedia activities for middle and high school students, including audio/video production, 3D modeling, and video game design.  Using Apple's Logic Pro and Garageband software and audio freeware, COSI's audio production workshops allow teens to focus on the skills of beat making, microphone usage, digital audio editing, and mixing   COSI's video editing workshops and summer camps are presented in collaboration with WOSU Public Media and focus on allowing teens to learn lighting, filming, and editing techniques through the use of professional grade DSLR cameras, green screens, and Abode's Premiere software.  The Teen Tech Lounge also features 3D printers, Makey Makeys, video game consoles, and platforms for game and controller design. Best of all...the Teen Tech Lounge is free to teens during open hours: Wednesday (3-7pm) and Saturdays (10am-5pm).

Come visit the Teen Tech Studio studio on Thursday (April 10) from 4-7pm for our opening event!  Our partners at WOSU, Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus Metropolitan Library, and the Wexner Center for the Arts will feature open teen spaces as well...shuttle to these sites will be provided.
