Last weekend, COSI hosted its annual Nano Science Day in partnership with the Ohio State University and Boston's Museum of Science. Throughout the event, several dozen OSU volunteers presented various nano-related demonstrations (including the inner workings of computer hard drives, the power of an electron microscope, and the finer points of nano measuring). MOS Boston's Karine Thate also visited COSI to present on a new type of nano-imaging called QSTORM, which was developed in part through the help of OSU chemical engineering researcher Jessica Winter.
