Rhode Island Department of Transportation Selects PlanGraphics
for Document Management System Implementation Project
FRANKFORT, Ky.- PlanGraphics, Inc., a provider of professional spatial information
technology services, has contracted with the Rhode Island Department of
Transportation (RIDOT) to implement their Plan Library and Numbering System
(PLANS), a spatially enabled engineering records document management system.
The contract, valued at over $970,000, was awarded through a recent competitive
process. The PlanGraphics team will be providing project management, GIS integration
strategy, scanning and indexing services, quality control, training, and Oracle database
design services, all on-site at RIDOT’s offices in Providence, R.I. PlanGraphics Senior
Analyst Marina Havan-Orumieh will be managing the project.
