Indus International Debuts IndusConnect(TM) Integration Tools; Capitalizes On Seamless Link of Indus Apps to Partner Products

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec 29, 2000 - Indus International (Nasdaq: IINT), one of the world's leading providers of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions today announced the introduction of IndusConnect(TM), a new line of integration tools designed to extend Indus' solutions to incorporate a wide range of partner products. IndusConnect allows the company's customers to seamlessly link Indus applications with partner products to provide integrated solutions. IndusConnect reinforces Indus International's commitment to Open Architecture and customer choice, enabling Indus customers to integrate best-of-breed applications with custom solutions to meet their unique operational requirements.

"This development is consistent with the current and growing requirement for collaborative commerce," stated Robert Hofer, vice president, Product Strategy, Indus. "Indus recognizes 'Collaborative Commerce' requires solutions be component-based and offer comprehensive interoperability. To be competitive in the marketplace, clients must be able to choose applications that have a depth of functionality to support the current business requirements, the flexibility to meet the changing landscape of the future and an open approach to new and emerging technologies."

The initial release includes IndusConnect for Financial Products(TM), IndusConnect for GIS(TM) applications and IndusConnect for Document Control. Indus anticipates announcing a wide range of partner firms that will be using IndusConnect, including traditional partner products such as Curator, and new firms as requested by the Indus customer base.

IndusConnect for Document Control has been developed to support the integration of third party Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and the Indus Solution Series. "IndusConnect for Document Control is a vital strategic initiative requested by our customers," noted Hofer. "The amount of innovation in this area, and the wide range of product offerings available, have led us to provide more flexibility to our customer base and expand their opportunities to achieve competitive advantage." www.indusinternational.com.
