Christian R. Darcey Joins Apex Data Services, Inc. As Senior Vice President, Business Development
Herndon, Virginia - APEX Data Services, Inc., a leading provider of data conversion and related services for the ePublishing, utility, and government markets, announced today that Christian R. Darcey has joined Apex as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Prior to joining Apex, Mr. Darcey was Director of Business Development for ICF Consulting’s Energy Solutions Practice, a division serving utility clients with market- leading back office software solutions. Under the direction and support of Mr. Darcey, ICF’s Energy Solutions Practice experienced annual revenue growth of over 50% for two consecutive years. His career at ICF began in 1994 when he joined as a management consultant to various utility demand-side management initiatives, including the U.S. EPA’s Energy Star Program. When he left ICF in 1997, he was Manager of Industrial Relations. Since then, Mr. Darcey has held positions of increasing responsibility in both the energy/utility consulting and information technology industries.

“This is an important step in preparing Apex for the next level of growth, serving our customers better, diversifying our lines of business, and developing a deeper management team,” said James O. Edwards, Apex’s CEO and Chairman.

Mr. Darcey holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park. He has served as a member on multiple industry panels and state and local steering committees for both utility- and technology-related issues. He is also a member of the Association of Energy Engineers and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.

Apex Data Services, Inc. is the world’s premier provider of data conversion and related services to electronic publishers, utilities, and government agencies. APEX specializes in conversion of data for the ePublishing market and the conversion of maps and drawings into geographic information systems (GIS) and automated mapping and facility management systems (AM/FM) for the utility and government markets.
