Xmarc and Inform Worldwide Sign
Channel Partnership for Delivery of Location-Based Services in the Americas
SAN JOSE, Calif. & DENVER - Nov. 9, 2000--
Xmarc's WIISE platform to Power Inform Worldwide's Location-Based Service (LBS) Applications
Continuing to build strategic partnerships worldwide, Xmarc, Inc. (ASX:FHL), today announced it
has signed a channel partnership agreement with Inform Worldwide (OTCBB:ANYI), a syndication
network for location-based mobile and wireless enterprises. Under the terms of this agreement, Inform
Worldwide will become a strategic channel partner for Xmarc, Inc. and will implement Xmarc's
Wireless & Internet Infrastructure Software Environment (WIISE) platform to power the Inform
Worldwide E-Hub applications.
Xmarc's WIISE platform contains a set of location service engines that are critical to the delivery and
deployment of wireless applications. The WIISE services include routing, proximity search,
geo-location, map rendering, secure profiling, wireless coverage and remote data access. Inform
Worldwide's E-Hub product is a location-aware technology suite, which features a map interface,
real-time vehicle tracking capabilities, automated message delivery, Telematics, and Internet video
surveillance capabilities. Inform Worldwide delivers content and location data for commercial and
consumer applications in Central and South America as well as the United States and Canada.
