Turin, Italy, 6th to 9th November 2000, stand 372.
Webraska, known for its door-to-door street-level wireless navigation services around the
world, is announcing the first ever live indoor navigation services. Delegates are guided from
one point of interest to another within the exhibition and conference areas at the ITS show.
A delegate can ask his or her way from for instance a specific stand in the exhibition area to
a point of interest in the exhibition/conference area chosen among:
Stands numbers or company names
a conference chosen by:
type of conference session
speaker name
presentation subject
name of presentation room
restaurants, cafés, lavatories etc.
The result is optimised dynamic navigation from the starting point through to the chosen
destination by help of a map showing the way as well as written step-by-step directions
taking into account whether there are lifts or not.
"In-door navigation is a much awaited time saving solution for all attendees of large
conferences, museums, attractions, and shows, and a very powerfull marketing addition for
conference organisers and sponsors", commented Jean-Michel Durocher, CEO and Founder
of Webraska. "It is a natural addition to Webraska’s worldwide wireless navigation".
