SpatialNews Press Release

The world’s largest centre for data capture is now accessible from Britain 29th November 2000

The largest data capture and conversion centre in the world is now accessible from Britain. InfoTech Enterprises in Hyderabad specialises in project development for large scale data capture and conversion. The work is approved with both ISO 9001 and 9002 certificates. InfoTech Enterprises Europe has offices in London, Manchester and Germany so European clients can now access to this facility for the first time.

The dedicated centre covers over 130,000 square feet and employs over 1200 highly skilled technical staff. The centre is open 24 hours a day and projects are worked on constantly in three shifts. Projects are completed far more quickly than if they had been taken to an ordinary conversion centre because InfoTech Enterprises can offer 1.75 million person hours per annum. Data conversion services include AM/FM/GIS drawings and mapping on major platforms such as Smallworld, ArcInfo, Intergraph, MapInfo, AutoCAD, and Microstation. In addition to capture and conversion, the centre can also provide data modelling, system migration, GIS application development and integration with other operational support systems.

Sending projects to an offshore centre, means clients can receive the most cost effective rates for data conversion. Deadlines are met faster than if the same service were provided onshore, whilst project management teams in the U.K provide the local point of contact. InfoTech Enterprises Europe is experienced in data consultancy and brokers data sets independently of any one supplier. This level of service has been transferred to the new service in data capture and conversion in order that clients may receive the best quality and never loose touch with the progress of their projects.

InfoTech Enterprises Europe is the new name for Dataview Solutions. The name change was prompted by the expansion of our GIS capabilities and the introduction of both offshore and onshore general IT services.
