JASON BAKER JOINS APEX GEOSPATIAL DATA SERVICES, LLC
AS SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
HERNDON, VIRGINIA, November 28, 2000 - Apex Geospatial Data Services, LLC (Apex
Geospatial), a leading provider of data conversion and related services for the e-publishing,
utility, and government markets, announced today that Jason Baker has been hired to join its
Geospatial Data Services Division as Senior Project Manager.
Mr. Baker’s primary responsibilities will be to launch Apex Geospatial’s data maintenance
services, provide senior level management of geographic information systems (GIS) data
conversion projects for Apex Geospatial’s utility customers, and manage Apex Geospatial’s
newest office in Indianapolis.
Prior to joining Apex, Mr. Baker was a Senior Project Manager at Analytical Surveys, Inc. and at
Mid States Engineering where he spent a total of five years. During this time, he managed
several high profile GIS data conversion projects working with utility customers in several
industries including gas, electric, water, and sewer. He studied at Purdue University where he
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management.
