International Datashare Corporation Announces Strategic Acquisitions
CALGARY, ALBERTA -International Datashare Corporation ("iDc") announces that it has entered into
agreements to purchase AnGIS Software Inc. ("AnGIS") and MSI Systems Integration Inc. ("MSI"), both
This acquisition is strategic for iDc as it provides an "open" solution to data management and analysis. IDc will provide the basic data browser and
tools and will also offer complete corporate and industry solutions for data connectivity, allowing more efficient data access and analysis. The new iDc
company will provide industry with a powerful suite of data management software and data. Most importantly, the iDc team has the commitment and
experience required to properly service and support current and new clients.
AnGIS Software Inc, is the developer of a suite of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools including the DataMorpher. This data integrator
provides geo-technical users with flexibility to define their own data-model structures and then retrieve the information based on that definition for
analysis on a desktop. Chuck Smith, President of AnGIS Software Inc. will join iDc's senior management team as Senior Vice President Development
and Systems. Chuck brings over 20 years of technical and managerial expertise to iDc.
MSI has been developing open systems software technology since it released MSI-Capture in 1994. Tom Smith, President of MSI will join the iDc
senior management team as Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing.
iDc focuses on three product lines. As a data vendor, iDc provides high quality data to the oil and gas industry. Software solutions provided by iDc
provide data management and engineering tools allowing users to visually inspect data, generate a variety of maps and perform statistical, economic
and engineering analysis. Value added services include data analysis and interpretation, organization and analysis of unused or disorganized data sets,
creation of databases and data management systems and technical consulting.The purchase price for the acquisitions consists of 8,125,000 iDc
common shares, 500,000 iDc share purchase warrants at $0.16 and $300,000 in cash. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and are
expected to close on or about November 22, 2000.
iDc also announces the appointment of Travis Beatty, CA. as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Travis has both public and industry
related experience and is a valued addition to the iDc management team.
