Autodesk appoints Regional Director for UK & Ireland
OCT 27, 2000 - Autodesk has announced that Chris Pinner has been appointed as Regional Director for the UK & Ireland. In
this role, Pinner has overall responsibility for sales, marketing and distribution in this territory.
Pinner will be based in Guildford, UK, and reports to Vic Sanchez, Vice President for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) division of
Autodesk.
Pinner points out: "I am joining Autodesk at a very exciting and challenging time in the company's development. As the established market leader in PC
and Web design software, its new Internet-based solutions and strategies will transform design information into a key business driver. I look forward to
my role in promoting the extensive use of design information in the enterprise supply chain and into new markets." Pinner joins Autodesk from RM, the
UK's leading supplier of IT software, services and systems to the UK education market, where he worked for 14 years, ultimately in the role of
Divisional Director. In this role he founded the CAD workstations business and helped the Higher Education business become the market leader within
UK universities. Prior to RM, Pinner was Sales Manager at Equinox Computer Systems.
