DeLorme Joins Leading Consumer ASP cMeRun In Effort To Change The Fundamentals of Software Purchase and Use

YARMOUTH, Maine, September 12, 2000 - DeLorme, America's leading provider of mapping technologies, today announced an agreement with cMeRun Corp., (OTC: BB: CMER), the Internet computing company, to offer online maps over cMeRun's consumer ASP service. Under the terms of the agreement, cMeRun's users will gain access to DeLorme's Street Atlas USA* and EarthaMaps* products, over the Internet via their ISPs.

Eartha Systems, DeLorme's Internet, Wireless and GPS team, has developed a portfolio of mapping products to provide location technologies to the service provider community.

"DeLorme is excited to be at the forefront of delivering mapping and travel planning functionality to users over the Internet," said Gordon Pow, DeLorme President and COO. "This is the first time that mapping and travel planning applications of this caliber are available to the ASP market."

cMeRun supports software vendors who are at the cutting edge of technology and who hold a strong vision for the future of software delivery. By partnering with cMeRun, software vendors will gain access to a new distribution model for their software and have access to joint marketing activities. The goal is to directly impact the way consumers use common brand-name software titles, eliminating expensive upgrades and lengthy software installations.

Users of cMeRun will enjoy an online experience enabling the customization of features and functionality just as if one were working with a program installed directly on the hard drive. They will also gain the added benefit of working in a secure environment protected by the latest SSL encryption unrivaled on the home desktop.

"We are pleased to partner with DeLorme to bring our customers a new high quality travel planning and mapping title while giving DeLorme a new distribution channel for sales and marketing," said Jim Lovie, CEO for cMeRun Corp. "We are committed to building strong software partnerships and look forward to adding new titles in the near future to support the service being offered by DeLorme and their Eartha Systems development team."
