Merrick & Company Announces New Contracts

March 30, 2001 -- Merrick & Company, Aurora, Colorado is pleased to announce the firm has been awarded contracts by the City of Norman, Oklahoma; City of Boulder, Colorado; and, the Tallahassee- Leon County, Florida Joint Consortium to provide photogrammetric and GIS services. For the City of Norman, Merrick will update the existing planimetric and digital ortho base map for the city’s jurisdictional boundary at a scale of 1”=200’ and 1”=400’. For the City of Boulder, Merrick is using GPS equipment to accurately place utility features into the city’s GIS system. The Tallahassee-Leon County joint project requires Merrick & Company to update the existing planimetric and topographic databases, creation of 2,795 digital ortho tiles and delivery of all data in ESRI’s ArcInfo 8.0 format.
