Jump to Website Here
Corvallis, OR - March 30, 2001 - GPS-Mapping will be conducting GPS mapping/surveying workshops at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and the University of Louisville on May 14-15 and June 6-7 respectively. Both workshops are held in conjunction with ArcView workshops.

Details on the workshops can be found at:
http://www.gps-mapping.com/ESRI%20Certified%20Hands%20on%20GPS.htm
and
http://www.gps-mapping.com/louis0606.htm

The two-day workshop is a mix of lecture, PC work and two field sessions where the class will work outdoors and map local features. The key benefit of our seminars is that they are "hands-on". Everyone gets to touch and use GPS equipment. We will bring both mapping grade and survey grade GPS units to use during the seminar as well as GPS software on computers spread throughout the classroom.

GPS-Mapping has conducted nationwide GPS seminars for 8 years and trained thousands of folks in the different methods of GPS mapping and surveying. Seminar clients include the US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Park Service, USDA APHIS, most of the 50 state governments, Weyerhaeuser, International Paper, Monsanto, Environmental Protection Agency, Georgia-Pacific and numerous engineering and natural resource professionals.
