Executive Brings Extensive Sales and Marketing Experience to Top Imaging
Solutions Company to Lead Business Expansion
SEATTLE, August 27, 2001 ( LizardTech, Inc. announced today that Bill
Patterson has joined the company as its new president and CEO. Patterson
will direct worldwide strategies to drive long-term business growth and
market acceptance of LizardTech's MrSID(r) and DjVu(r) product lines, making
the highest quality digital content accessible to customers around the
world.
Patterson brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing,
development and planning to LizardTech. Previously, he was president and COO
of Crossport Systems and executive vice president of Syncronex. As Sr. Vice
President at Attachmate, Patterson managed a team of more than 800
professionals in sales, marketing, customer support and services generating
more than $300 million in annual revenues from the world's largest users of
information technology. Patterson also has held senior sales and marketing
positions with IBM.
