Theme Locator Extension Released

LACKAWANNA, NY, January 31, 2001 -- GeoSnap Software announces the release of Theme Locator, a new extension for ArcView GIS. Theme Locator significantly improves the way theme sources are found and added to a view in ArcView. GeoSnap's extension automatically drills down through the computer's directory tree looking for Arc/INFO coverages and shape files. As theme sources are found, they are saved in a permanent list. Now, when the button that adds a new theme is pressed, Theme Locator displays the saved list of all available theme sources. Multiple theme sources can be quickly selected and added to the current view. An evaluation version of Theme Locator is available on GeoSnap's Web site at www.GeoSnap.com.
