ERDAS® On California’s Multiple Award Schedule
ERDAS® announces that it is now listed on California’s Multiple Award Schedule
(CMAS; contract number 3-00-70-1318A). The CMAS program provides California’s
state and local government agencies with an easy and value-effective purchasing
vehicle, for both information technology and commodity products and services.
Being listed on the CMAS means that agencies of the California government may now
choose an ERDAS product or service according to their business needs.
“We are pleased to be listed on the CMAS, and to make the availability and purchase of
ERDAS products and services the solution for California customers,” said Lawrie
Jordan, III, ERDAS President.
Available under the CMAS agreement are Windows and UNIX-based ERDAS
products, which include the core ERDAS IMAGINE® suite and its full range of add-on
modules:
- Stereo Analyst®
- IMAGINE VirtualGIS™
- IMAGINE Vector™
- IMAGINE NITF™
- IMAGINE OrthoBASE™
- IMAGINE Subpixel Classifier™
- IMAGINE Developers’ Toolkit™
- IMAGINE Radar Mapping Suite™
CMAS is available to any government agencies or corporation that spends public funds
with the state within the state of California. While the state makes this contract
available, each entity must determine if the CMAS program is consistent with its
individual purchasing policies and regulations.
In May 2000, ERDAS was awarded a General Services Administration Schedule
Contract (number GS-35F-0383K), enabling all US Federal Government customers to
buy ERDAS IMAGINE software, software maintenance, training and services from a
GSA-approved price list with agreed upon terms and conditions.
As with the GSA-IT contract, the initial contract term is for five years and allows
ERDAS to add new products to the CMAS at any time.
