EarthScan® Announces Additions to Sales Force
Albuquerque, NM - February 21, 2001 - EarthScan Network has named Eric Waldman Vice
President, Business Development; Jeff Keiser, Vice President, Ag Segment Development and Shawn
Dockter, Manager, Channel Development.
Eric Waldman, a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, brings nearly 20 years’ sales
management and business development experience to EarthScan. Prior to joining the company, he was
Western Regional Channel Manager for Space Imaging, where he introduced and generated satellite
imagery sales to a broad range of industries. Waldman also spent several years in Sales and Marketing at
Hitachi America, where he launched the initial marketing and sales of new computer graphics and
biotechnology software products in North America, Asia and Europe. At EarthScan, Waldman will be
responsible for focusing business development on several target markets, including state and local
government, utilities, environmental, and other non-agriculture entities.
Jeff Keiser has spent 20 years in production agriculture and agribusiness, including ten years
with the United States’ largest private ag retail distribution company, Terra Industries. Most recently,
Keiser was Vice President of Technology and Development at EasyChem, an internet company focused
on delivering agrochemicals to farmers. Keiser is a graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette,
Indiana, with a B.S. in Agriculture Economics. He will concentrate his sales efforts on targets such as
agronomy, life science companies, precision agriculture and food companies.
Shawn Dockter joined EarthScan after four years’ experience working as an aerospace engineer
on classified satellite projects for Lockheed Martin. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of
Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. At
EarthScan, Dockter is responsible for developing a network of EarthScan Solution Partners and
Resellers for a variety of industries, including agriculture.
